Our Caterpillars room is where our under 2s have the opportunity to blossom and become inquisitive Butterflies. We have a comfortable sleeping side room, where we do our best to follow home routines with sleeping. We have a tummy time area for our younger babies, and lots of interactive toys and equipment to ensure every child feels like they are in a home from home. The children have many of activities available for them to explore no matter what age they are, messy play, water play, craft activities such as painting, gluing and sticking and drawing. 

This is a general guide to our daily routine, it is however dependent on each individual child’s needs and therefore we can be flexible.

8:00am-8:30am- Breakfast time 

8:30am- Exploring our favourite activities, a balance of adult led and self-chosen play, or garden

9:45am- Tidy up time into circle time (saying good morning, story or song bag)

10:00am- Wash hands and snack time 

10:30-11:45am- Adult led activities/garden time 

11:45am- Time for some group fun (singing and dancing)

12:00pm-12:30pm- Lunch time

1:00pm- Time to say goodbye to some friends and welcome more friend in

1:00pm- Free play, nap times on individual routine and adult led activities 

1:45pm- Tidy up time into circle time

2:00pm- Wash hands and snack time 

2:30pm-Exploring our favourite activities, a balance of adult led and self-chosen play, or garden

3:45pm- Time for some group fun 

4:00pm- Time to say goodbye to some friends and tea time for others

4:30pm- Free play and an opportunity to join the older children 

5:30pm- End of nursery day- see you next time!
